Company attributes continued strong revenue growth to ongoing product-market fit, innovation, world-class threat intelligence and high-efficacy technology amid the escalation of online fraud and AI-powered volumetric attacks
SAN MATEO, Calif., November 21, 2024 — Arkose Labs, today announced it ranked No. 72 in the San Francisco Bay Area on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America, now in its 30th year. Arkose Labs has ranked on this list four consecutive years.
New research shows that AI-powered volumetric attacks have surged 36% over the past two years, with 56% of enterprises reporting increased challenges from cyberattacks driven by generative AI. Arkose Labs Founder and CEO Kevin Gosschalk attributes the company’s revenue growth to high market demand for solutions designed for complex, global infrastructures, product innovation to counter adversarial AI and robust cross-industry intelligence it shares so that customers can tune their internal risk models.
“This is the fourth consecutive year Deloitte has honored us on the Fast 500 list,” Gosschalk said. “The recognition reflects our team’s dedication to ongoing innovation, proactive customer service and consistent, material value creation, helping customers secure online transactions and reduce the costs of digital fraud. Our strong partnerships with the world’s most recognizable companies inspire us to continually evolve our platform, and our cross-industry intelligence network helps keep our customers ahead of threats coming around the corner.”
Overall, 2024 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 201% to 153,625% over the three-year time frame, with an average growth rate of 1,981% and median growth rate of 460%.
Now in its 30th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 provides a ranking of the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies — both public and private — in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2020 to 2023.
In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least US$50,000, and current-year operating revenues of at least US$5 million. Additionally, companies must be in business for a minimum of four years and be headquartered within North America.
